In a statement about their latest inspection campaign, WorkSafe WA has posted on their website that Worksafe inspectors will focus on freight forwarding safety risk. The campaign will concentrate on workplaces where freight forwarding is in operation and targeting will continue throughout the remainder of this financial year. The freight forwarding safety program will target manual tasks, load restraint (falling objects), working at heights, forklift safety, safe movement of vehicles e.g. traffic management, high risk work licences, and work from ladders or elevated work platforms.
